DESCRIPTION

 

Original 2002 race car minus engine and transmission

Originally would have been powered by a BMW P82 2988cc, naturally aspirated dry sump engine rated at 905bhp

In excellent condition

This is not a 'showroom' model or a replica but a proper race car without the noisy bits

 

Williams FW24 F1 race car, rolling chassis (chassis number to follow). Driven by Juan Pablo Montoya and Ralf Schumacher during the 2002 season. The FW24 was powered by a BMW P82 2988cc, naturally aspirated dry sump engine rated at 905bhp. The car proved competitive with Ralf Schumacher scoring the team's only win of the season in Malaysia and Juan Pablo Montoya setting an impressive run of five consecutive pole positions with the car in midseason, and completed the, then, fastest lap at any circuit in Formula 1 history during qualifying, setting pole position at Monza for the Italian Grand Prix at an average of 161.449 mph. Williams finished second in the Constructors' Championship to Ferrari this season,

Motor vehicles

Vehicles can be collected from The Wing on Monday 2nd August between 9am and 3pm.

Our transport partners, EM Rogers, can assist with collection and delivery. Please contact them on

01604 755511 or trafficdesk@emrogers.co.uk for a quote.

Any cars not collected by 3pm on Monday 2nd August will be taken to our EM Rogers storage facility in

Northampton for a fee of £150 plus VAT. Storage will be charged at £10 plus VAT per day from Monday 2nd August onwards.

Motorcycles

Our motorcycle transport partners, Moving Motorcycles, can assist with collection and delivery.

Any motorcycles not collected by 3pm on Monday 2nd August will be taken to our transport partners facility in Northamptonshire for a

fee of £110 plus VAT, including 3 days storage. Storage will be charged at £5 plus VAT per day thereafter.

Automobilia can be collected from The Wing over the weekend or Monday morning between 9am

and midday by prior appointment. After this time it can be collected from our offices in

Warwickshire or shipped to you at your expense.
