Position Summary

Iconic Auctioneers is seeking an enthusiastic Car Specialist to join our fast growing online sales team full time, with a focus on our online sales, but the ability to consign into all of our auctions. Reporting to the Online Sales Manager, the successful candidate must have a commitment to providing the highest level of customer experience and demonstrate a passion for all things with an engine.

Responsibilities

• Build lasting and trusted relationships with customers based on expertise, transparent and quality advice
• Attend various car events to showcase our services as and when required
• Achieve targets set out for consigning vehicles into the dedicated online auctions
• Generate and develop new clients by cold calling, networking and following up on assigned leads
• Research and communicate the history, provenance and unique selling features of consignments
• Be a trusted advisor to clients for buying and/or selling cars
• Promote existing consignments and events to current or prospective customers
• Keep up to date records on sales calls and client contacts through the use of CRM and provide reports where necessary
• Be a brand ambassador and represent Iconic Auctioneers
• Other activities as assigned.
 
Requirements

• Strong communication skills, both verbally and written
• Ability to research and write detailed descriptions for consignments
• Comfortable with cold calls and/or developing new relationships
• High level of integrity, work ethic and ability to work as part of a team
• Valid driver’s licence
• Evening/weekend work during auctions and busy periods
 
Salary and benefits

• Competitive basic salary of £28,000
• 11.5% commission on retained income of lots consigned. O.T.E. £65K - £75K
• Auto enrolment pension scheme
• Opportunity to travel
