SUMMARY
For the man who has everything... a twin gearbox Paterson Garden Tractor!
DESCRIPTION
- Pattison were at the forefront of offering lightweight tractors designed specifically for the market gardener and small holder
- They generally used proprietary car engines and in this case, a pre-1929, magneto-ignition Austin Seven engine is utilised, driving through two Austin Seven 3-speed gearboxes 'in series' with the final drive through a Morris Minor rear axle
- In current enthusiast ownership for 16 years, and the previous keeper some 25 years on display in his private museum
- Workmanlike and smartly presented in blue livery with a well patinated black saddle
- Mechanically in good order and running last summer, the tractor will need fresh fuel and a new battery before active use. This tractor will lend itself well to exhibition at tractor rallies or indeed is the ultimate garden accessory and working tool for the Austin enthusiast
