DESCRIPTION
Founded in Coventry by Richard Lea and Graham Francis in 1895 as a cycle manufacturer, they moved in to cars in 1903 and motorcycles in 1911.
They initially manufactured chassis, engine and gearbox with bodies supplied externally, but by 1937 they produced whole cars in house known as the '12' and later the '14' which reflected their horse power. Over 10,000 vehicles had been produced by the time the factory finally closed in 1962.
This particular Lea-Francis 14HP Saloon was purchased from Charles Follet in London on 9-1-1951 by Evelyn Haywood from Ross on Wye. Finished in it's current colour of light ivory the car passed through various owners during the 50's and 60's and was put in to long term storage in 1982.
Purchased and then restored in 1995, the car has since been shown at various classic car shows and is well known by the Lea Francis owners club. Said to drive well the car comes with a comprehensive history file, original buff log book, instruction book and workshop manual.

Our transport partners, EM Rogers, can assist with collection and delivery. Please contact them on
01604 755511 or trafficdesk@emrogers.co.uk for a quote.
Any cars not collected by 3pm on Monday 2nd August will be taken to our EM Rogers storage facility in
Northampton for a fee of £150 plus VAT. Storage will be charged at £10 plus VAT per day from Monday 2nd August onwards.
Motorcycles
Our motorcycle transport partners, Moving Motorcycles, can assist with collection and delivery.

Any motorcycles not collected by 3pm on Monday 2nd August will be taken to our transport partners facility in Northamptonshire for a
fee of £110 plus VAT, including 3 days storage. Storage will be charged at £5 plus VAT per day thereafter.
Automobilia
Automobilia can be collected from The Wing over the weekend or Monday morning between 9am
and midday by prior appointment. After this time it can be collected from our offices in
Warwickshire or shipped to you at your expense.
