DESCRIPTION

A delightful early Landie...This 1951 Land Rover Series I 80 inch was built on the 3rd March 1951 and despatched to David Rosenfield Manchester Ltd swiftly afterwards. Classic Car Auctions would like to refer to our vendor's words, straight from the horse's, or should that be the donkey's mouth?!

""I have owned this for about thirteen years. Whilst it has not been "Restored' and not in absolutely pristine condition, it is in pretty good condition and running rather well. Essentially, I have had all the work done to make it fun to drive and a pleasure to look at and I think everything works as it should. The engine appears to have been "overhauled' in March 1988 by Leamington-Land Rover Services and probably done very few miles since. Last MoTd November 2003, at a recorded mileage of 33,523 and it now reads 34,245. It has been kept in my garage and my two predecessors' garages since 1983 as far as I can tell. I don't currently have the original green registration book, and due to inactivity, it has lost its original Reg No of AEC 432, and is now MSV 178. I have today applied for a Heritage Certificate.""

Any cars not collected by 3pm on Monday 2nd August will be taken to our EM Rogers storage facility in

Northampton for a fee of £150 plus VAT. Storage will be charged at £10 plus VAT per day from Monday 2nd August onwards.

Motorcycles

Our motorcycle transport partners, Moving Motorcycles, can assist with collection and delivery.

Any motorcycles not collected by 3pm on Monday 2nd August will be taken to our transport partners facility in Northamptonshire for a

fee of £110 plus VAT, including 3 days storage. Storage will be charged at £5 plus VAT per day thereafter.

Automobilia

Automobilia can be collected from The Wing over the weekend or Monday morning between 9am

and midday by prior appointment. After this time it can be collected from our offices in

Warwickshire or shipped to you at your expense.
