A rare, UK-supplied from new, TD Midget that's been nicely restored.

DESCRIPTION

  • The TD-Series Midget was the first MG sports car to feature independent double-wishbone front suspension and rack and pinion steering and the new model also boasted a hypoid-bevel back axle, a scuttle reinforcement hoop and twin leading-shoe front brakes
  • Powered by the proven 1250cc XPAG engine with a four-speed manual transmission, it was reputedly capable of 82mph and 26mpg 
  • Dating from early 1951, this Mk II is one of the very few cars that were UK-supplied from new
  • The subject of an older full restoration complete with a replacement Ash frame
  • Really well-presented in Gloss Black and converted to take TF chrome wire wheels
  • Superb interior in Tan Leather with a matching Rexine-covered dashboard, Bakelite switches, and a Blumels 'Brooklands' four-spoke, sprung steering wheel with a rare, coloured Bakelite rim
  • Excellent Beige hood and matching Tonneau cover
  • Recent £2,000 expenditure including new brakes, a full service, underbody treated and new tyres
  • Supplied with a small history file, which includes a copy of the original 'Buff Logbook', this smashing little TD is ready to step back into the 50s

Any cars not collected by 3pm on Monday 2nd August will be taken to our EM Rogers storage facility in

Northampton for a fee of ÂŁ150 plus VAT. Storage will be charged at ÂŁ10 plus VAT per day from Monday 2nd August onwards.

Motorcycles

Our motorcycle transport partners, Moving Motorcycles, can assist with collection and delivery.

Any motorcycles not collected by 3pm on Monday 2nd August will be taken to our transport partners facility in Northamptonshire for a

fee of ÂŁ110 plus VAT, including 3 days storage. Storage will be charged at ÂŁ5 plus VAT per day thereafter.

Automobilia can be collected from The Wing over the weekend or Monday morning between 9am

and midday by prior appointment. After this time it can be collected from our offices in

Warwickshire or shipped to you at your expense.
