SUMMARY

1953 'T-Grille' Series I that has been taken back to bare metal.

DESCRIPTION

  • This 'T-Grille' Series I was registered in February 1953 and has been owned by our vendor since 2006
  • During his tenure, it has benefitted from earlier mechanical and cosmetic enhancements including an engine rebuild, new fuel tank, fresh battery, and retrimmed seats
  • The bodywork was believed untouched during the work carried out and is presented with plenty of authentic original patina, including traces of Bronze Green which can be found within the vehicles shut lines and creases. The original canvas covers are also in good order
  • The history file contains its V5C registration document and various bills and receipts
  • This Series I is a fine example and, given the values achieved by recent sales of similar models, appears to be extremely well-estimated. Viewing is highly recommended to appreciate this early Land Rover
