SUMMARY
Charming, 1250 XPAG-engined, TD Midget restored a few years ago and still presenting really well.
DESCRIPTION
- The TD-Series Midget was the first MG sports car to feature independent double-wishbone front suspension, rack and pinion steering and twin leading-shoe front brakes
- Powered by the proven 1,250cc XPAG engine with a 4-speed manual transmission, it was reputedly capable of 82mph and 26mpg
- This smart example is finished in Woodland Green over Apple Green leather with and black hood
- Restored to a superb useable level in recent years after being purchased as a rolling project in 2016
- The rebuild involved all panels being removed and refinished as required, an engine rebuild and a full rewire
- Previously retrimmed to a good level
- Currently residing in the Isle of Man prior to returning to the UK for our sale
- Reportedly running and driving well but with little use in recent years minor recommissioning may be required
- Previously registered on mainland UK but will requiring re-registering by the new custodian
- Your early inspection is welcomed and encouraged.
