SUMMARY
An early Series II four-door Split Screen subject to a sympathetic restoration a few years ago and offered without Reserve.
DESCRIPTION
- According to its accompanying BMIHT factory record, this lovely Morris Minor is recorded as a right-hand drive Series II four-door saloon, built between 13-17 August 1954, finished in Empire Green and despatched on 18/08/1854
- The Series II was powered by an 803cc OHV four-cylinder producing 30bhp @ 4,800rpm
- Its original green logbook shows that our vendor's father was the second owner although the date of purchase is hard to read
- He is however recorded by the DVLA on 21/10/1983 as requesting the return of its original registration number, PGU 751, so presumably owned it then
- The restoration appears to have commenced in late 2010 as confirmed by the numerous photographs in the file
- There are four invoices from the Morris Minor Millennium Company for mechanical work dated 2011/2016 (£1,365)
- Ownership transferred to our vendor on 12/07/2020
- The car is accompanied by its BMIHT Factory Record Sheet and Tech Data Sheet, original green logbook and copies, DVLA correspondence regarding the registration number, its V5C, one MOT (Nov 2010-2011), the invoice (and manual) for the restored Radiomobile 20X, numerous pictures of the car during restoration, original MM1000 Drivers Manual and Series II Operation Manual, two workshop manuals, The Morris Minor by Ray Newell, spare spark plugs and a couple of 'Trafficator' arms
