Emerging from long-term ownership, a cracking project Series 1.

DESCRIPTION

  • Owned by our vendor for over 25 years, this Series 1 has had extensive work carried out in the past
  • The subject of an older restoration by our engineer vendor during which the focus was mainly mechanical
  • He came up with lots of innovative solutions, e.g. the bulkhead was galvanised in a bespoke jig to prevent the inevitable warping and stainless steel was used extensively during the rebuild
  • Powered by a Rover 2.5-litre engine and Santana Overdrive and sitting on a set of wide wheels
  • New canvas top, front-mounted winch, bespoke bull bars, recovered seating, new mats, carpets etc.
  • Regularly used and enjoyed by our vendor including a trip to Italy and the full Land Rover Experience
  • Although in need of cosmetic detailing, this characterful Series 1 offers a couple of options. It could be returned to standard and restored accordingly or alternatively, being mechanically sound could be enjoyed just as it is, doing the things that early Land Rovers do best

Motor vehicles

Vehicles can be collected from The Wing on Monday 2nd August between 9am and 3pm.

Our transport partners, EM Rogers, can assist with collection and delivery. Please contact them on

01604 755511 or trafficdesk@emrogers.co.uk for a quote.

Any cars not collected by 3pm on Monday 2nd August will be taken to our EM Rogers storage facility in

Northampton for a fee of £150 plus VAT. Storage will be charged at £10 plus VAT per day from Monday 2nd August onwards.

Motorcycles

Our motorcycle transport partners, Moving Motorcycles, can assist with collection and delivery.

Any motorcycles not collected by 3pm on Monday 2nd August will be taken to our transport partners facility in Northamptonshire for a

fee of £110 plus VAT, including 3 days storage. Storage will be charged at £5 plus VAT per day thereafter.

Automobilia

Automobilia can be collected from The Wing over the weekend or Monday morning between 9am

and midday by prior appointment. After this time it can be collected from our offices in

Warwickshire or shipped to you at your expense.
