1959 BMW Isetta 300

This Italian-designed Isetta microcar was built under licence in a number of different countries, including; Spain, Belgium, France, Brazil, Germany and the United Kingdom. Produced in the post-World War II years, a time when cheap short-distance transportation was most needed, it became one of the most successful and influential city cars ever created. Because of its egg shape and bubble-like windows, it became known as a "bubble car', a name later given to other similar vehicles.

"313 KPJ" is an Isetta 300 built in the UK and registered on the 16th June 1959. It is presented today in exceptionally fine condition.

The history file contains photographic evidence of a ground up restoration. It is not clear exactly when this was carried out, although examination of the paper work would suggest that it was completed in the late 1990's.

The odometer reading of 30,212 is believed to be genuine but cannot be guaranteed.

Values of these great little cars have continued to rise and with todays estimate "313 KPJ" should not be ignored.
