1960 MGA 1600 MK1

The MGA was a sports car produced by the MG division of The British Motor Corporation from 1955 to 1962. It replaced the older "T-type" cars and represented a complete styling break from the older vehicles. The "A' was officially launched at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 1955. Only 5,869 cars were sold on the home market, giving the MGA the highest export percentage of any British car. It was replaced by the MGB in May 1962.This little MGA Mk I 1600 is finished in Chariot Red with matching red interior. The car is described by the vendor as in superb order throughout. Most MGA models were exported to places such as California in the 1950s and 1960s. However, this example is an original UK right-hand drive model with a lovely history file. The car is finished on steel wheels and has been maintained by marque experts to ensure that everything on the car is functioning correctly and ready for use. Original home-market MGAs don't come on to the market too often and this car represents classic British motoring for a most reasonable outlay.
