SUMMARY
Super little Mint Green Fiat 600 fully restored on Wheeler Dealers.
DESCRIPTION
- Historically significant as the first rear-engined FIAT, the 600 was a masterpiece of automotive packaging, cramming accommodation for four into the same 2,000mm wheelbase as the outgoing two-seater Topolino
- The most significant upgrade to this outstandingly successful design occurred in 1960 with the introduction of the 600D, which featured a 767cc engine, altered gearing and greatly improved performance
- This super little 600D had been imported from Southern Italy, and not yet registered for UK roads when it was discovered by Mike Brewer of Wheeler Dealers looking for the next TV restoration project for him and Elvis
- There is no space here to describe the quality of the little Fiat's rejuvenation and it's probably best to watch it on Wheeler Dealers Season 17, Episode 15
- Resplendent in ‘Verde Chiaro’ - mint green if you prefer, the Fiat is now UK-registered and showing two former keepers
- It's recently been serviced, fitted with a new clutch, water pump and drive belts, and topped with a new roof rack
