1963 Morris Minor 1098cc Convertible Deluxe

After 14 years of production and over 1 million units sold, Morris decided to carry out their final upgrades in 1962 for 1963 model year cars. The name Morris Minor Tourer was retained, although changes were sufficient for the new model to be given its own ADO internal development number. A larger version of the existing 'A' series engine had been developed in conjunction with cylinder head specialist, Harry Weslake, for the new ADO 16 Austin Morris 1100 range.
