DESCRIPTION
- Ford's fourth generation Thunderbird, known as the 'Jet Bird', arrived in 1964, retaining the same unitary platform as before but featuring dramatic new styling
- Under the bonnet was a 390-cid V8 delivering 300bhp with Cruise-O-Matic transmission whilst power steering and brakes were also standard
- The interior was remarkable with the driver surrounded by levers, buttons, dials and a swing-away retractable steering wheel behind which were a row of 'jet fighter' style pods relaying separate bits of information
- Imported from the US in 2020, this two-door Hardtop is finished in Wimbledon White with a classic 'Jet Bird' black vinyl interior and a full interior headlining
- The engine bay has been reconditioned and the susbstantial boot interior upgraded with a new 'trunk trim kit'
- We understand that the T-bird drives beautifully, the engine pulls really well and it sounds phenomenal
- An important member of Ford's back catalogue, an authentic and original car sold as a very useable daily classic - one to tick off the bucket list

Any vehicles not collected by this time will be transported to a secure storage facility in Northampton by our transport partner EM Rogers, the charges for which are £175 plus VAT for removal and £10 plus VAT per day for storage. We will make contact post-sale to confirm how you will be removing your vehicle(s). If we do not hear back from you by 5pm on Sunday evening, we will arrange collection with EM Rogers on your behalf.
