DESCRIPTION

548 LOV was born on the 28th of February 1964 and cost the princely sum of £388.11 to include the optional extra of a heater unit with fresh air!!This car was given to the current vendor for a 21st birthday present and has remained in his ownership for the last 51 years. This is the same owner as the Austin Seven also in our auction and has again that all so important Buff Logbook along with the newer V5. The current vendor was Mr. Mini at the Longbridge plant (mini track chief supervisor), and so all the maintenance work was carried out by him over its years on the road. However, the car is in need of rebuilding as it was stripped in readiness for this work to commence just prior to the vendor being taken ill. We believe that all the necessary parts are there to complete the build and looking at the bodywork and the usual problematic areas, these do not appear on a cursory inspection too bad at all, so this may be a very good base to work from. 'Early Mini Fever' is alive and well and bear in mind that this is a 'one owner', very desirable 1964 Morris Mini.
