DESCRIPTION
- Introduced in 1966, the first version of the Spitfire was confusingly designated as the MkII
- Designed as a sports-tourer with raised handlebars, forward-mounted rider footrests, a large dual seat with race-style hump and fibreglass fuel tank and side panels
- This example was despatched from the factory new in April 1966 to Southampton and still retains its original registration number
- Recently restored to its current condition and is presented in running order
- Matching numbers and complete with its original RF60 log book and invoice
- Supplied with a history file containing numerous receipts and other associated paperwork
- Original handlebars included and fitted with electronic ignition
- Great example of this classic BSA
