SUMMARY
A superb Mk2, extensively restored some years ago and only a few miles since being completely refreshed by Jaguar Classic Works.
DESCRIPTION
- Jaguar's iconic and desirable Mk2 presented in Indigo Blue with Grey leather
- Powered by the charismatic 220bhp, 3.8-litre XK unit mated to a 4-speed synchromesh gearbox with overdrive
- Only three owners from new. Initially purchased by Ronald Ellis from Hertfordshire in November 1966 and owned for almost 26 years
- Subsequently passed to Mr Peter Brook in Essex who carried out extensive restoration work that included upgrading the engine from the original 3.4-litre. Some £21,000 was reportedly spent over the years
- Purchased in September 2016 (7,538 miles) by the current owner, the founder Director of Jaguar Land Rover’s Heritage (now Classic) business
- In 2017, the car was handed over to Jaguar Classic Works in Oxford Road, Coventry for recommissioning, including a comprehensive chassis and drivetrain overhaul to return its driveability to original factory standards. This work included new brakes, suspension bushes, tyres, overdrive, prop-shaft, differential seals, fuel pump, radiator, heater matrix, speedometer and inertia-reel seat belts, at a cost of £11,000

Any cars not collected by 3pm on Monday 2nd August will be taken to our EM Rogers storage facility in
Northampton for a fee of £150 plus VAT. Storage will be charged at £10 plus VAT per day from Monday 2nd August onwards.

Any motorcycles not collected by 3pm on Monday 2nd August will be taken to our transport partners facility in Northamptonshire for a

Automobilia can be collected from The Wing over the weekend or Monday morning between 9am
and midday by prior appointment. After this time it can be collected from our offices in
Warwickshire or shipped to you at your expense.
