DESCRIPTION
Oozing French Riviera ""Chic"", the Caravelle Convertible was not cheap when launched in the UK at £1296 compared to the £582 required for the more pedestrian Morris Minor Convertible, but frankly they were never likely to appeal to the same buyers with Caravelle owners associating themselves, hopefully, with the stunningly stylish commercial jet of the same name. Economy, practicality and personality are the characteristics of this overlooked and rare Sixties classic.
This charming 1967 Renault Caravelle S is described by the vendor as being reliable and very enjoyable to drive. The previous owner is said to have commissioned a restoration, including a full body respray and complete engine overhaul and the quality of this renovation can only be established by having a really good look.
Don't miss out on this rare swinging sixties classic which is sure to provide a most enjoyable driving experience together with lots of French charm.
This car has recently arrived in this country and will need a Nova and although the car is thought to fundamentally drive correctly the car has not been presented for a MoT as of yet.
