SUMMARY
A beautiful example of this very rare, first generation, right-hand drive, 124 Sport Coupé.
DESCRIPTION
- The Sport Coupé is an underrated, stylish and advanced four-seater grand tourer that was mechanically unbreakable and fantastic to drive
- Mario Boano was responsible for the car's svelte lines, whilst the interior was typical late 1960s Italian, with a well-stocked instrument cluster, woodgrain dash and supportive bucket seats
- Powered by a high-revving 1,438cc Lampredi-designed twin-cam, producing 96bhp and offering 0-60 in 13 seconds, impressive for 1968
- This superb example is a very rare right-hand drive car that arrived from South Africa this year, and will be UK-registered for the sale
- It's finished in a glorious shade of FIAT Dark Green (388) with a tan leatherette interior
- The car has clearly had restoration work completed before arriving here. The signs are evident with new weather seals etc. but the shell appears sound as you would expect from a dry climate
- These little Sport Coupés very rarely come to market, making this a fabulous opportunity and at a realistic guide
