DESCRIPTION

Production of the Series II Jaguar E-Type started in August 1968 and continued through to October 1970. It is often regarded as the best driving E-Type derivative. The most notable differences being the larger air intake, open headlights and new tail lights. The interior became more comfortable with fully reclining seats and revised switch gear. The Series II was now the most developed, reliable and rewarding driver's car to date and satisfied the market for refinement without diluting the classic E-Type design. Braking efficiency was improved with larger calipers all round.

Offered here is a 'blank canvas' Jaguar E-type for restoration. The car is complete and represents possibly the last chance to acquire an E-Type at sub £10,000. A current V5C is in the process of being requested from the DVLA. A Jaguar Heritage Certificate would be the first port of call for a prospective buyer which should confirm the UK origins of this car.
