1970 Jaguar E-Type Series 2 Fixedhead Coupé

Series 2 Jaguar E-Types that were produced from 1969 to 1971 can be identified by their open headlights that no longer have glass covers, a wrap-around rear bumper, re-positioned and larger front indicators that moved to under the heavier bumpers, the tail lights also moved below the rear bumper. The cooling is much improved helped by the enlarged "mouth', Series 2 cars also feature twin electric fans and uprated brakes. The engine is easily identified visually by the change from smooth polished cam covers to a ribbed appearance yet the original triple SU carburettors remain. The interior and dashboard were also redesigned, with flick switches being substituted by rocker switches to meet U.S regulations.

This truly magnificent E-Type is offered for sale here in the original colour scheme of Old English White with Black leather interior and has been the property of one custodian for 30 years. Also during this period it has benefitted from over £100,000 being spent on restoration and maintenance.
