SUMMARY

The Warwickshire Collection - This car has formed part of an extensive collection of British and European Classics and your inspection is encouraged.

DESCRIPTION

  • In recent years, this car has formed part of a large collection and has received little or no use, so an element of recommissioning is to be expected. Some of these cars do start, run and drive. Each car has a condition report, however they are all sold as seen
  • The new Series I XJ6-based Sovereign was introduced in October 1969 and was externally virtually identical to its Jaguar sibling with the exception of the fluted grille and Daimler badging
  • This lovely example was supplied new on the 04/08/1971 to a Mr Tjiong by Henlys of London
  • It presents particularly well in Regency Red with an unmarked black leather interior
  • The odometer indicates just 28,259 miles which is believed to be genuine
  • The history file contains some old MOTs, a number of maintenance invoices from Henlys, the original Order Acceptance from the dealership and the original Bill of Sale for £3,366.59
  • This good looking, low-mileage, rare Series 1 is very sensibly guided at just £10,000 - £12,000 and may well turn out to be an excellent investment
