DESCRIPTION

A beautiful Series III E-Type...According to the Jaguar Heritage Certificate, this 1971 example was first supplied to a gentleman in Bournemouth by Henlys, the main dealership and the car was subsequently shipped out to Italy in 2009. It passed through the hands of three significant owners whilst over in Italy, one being Dario Luraghi, the son of the president of Alfa Romeo from 1960 to 1974. The car was purchased by the vendor whilst out in Italy last year and exported back tblack and 1 silver - both have Michelin P3's on - the silver set having only done about 50 miles. The car is very rare and I can send you plenty of pictures Would you be able to give me a rough estimate of it's value? Thanks Trevoro the UK. It was promptly sent to J-Cat, Independent Jaguar Specialists in Norwich and, after a thorough inspection, a programme of works was undertaken to make it ready for UK roads. An MoT was issued in October 2015 and certain upgrades were made to enhance the driving experience. Whilst out in Italy, OGL 220 took part in the 500 Miglia Tour around the country, and there are some interesting pictures available showing this. The car now benefits from a full DVLA history showing ownership whilst on home shores.
