DESCRIPTION
The boxy 105-Series Giulia might not look like the most exciting saloon on the planet, but underneath that plain-Jane exterior beats the heart of a truly sporting saloon. Given the lusty twin-cam engines, five-speed gearbox and well set-up chassis, it"s easy to see why Alfa Romeo was so annoyed by the way its cars were depicted being outrun by the Mini Coopers in The Italian Job. Despite its rarity today, the Giulia was a massive success when new, with much of that founded on it being so good to drive. According to Octane magazine the are "well worth seeking out." This little 1300 Ti Saloon is finished in Alfa French Blue (AR/342) with black interior. The car is reading only 70,500 miles and would appear to be in very original condition. Purchased by the current owner out of a large collection in South Africa, the dry climate over there has spared this vehicle from the usual rust seen in european examples. The interior looks totally original and the car will be sold with an MoT. Buyer's should be aware that this car will require registering in Europe but all EU taxes and duties have been paid. Offered without reserve, this lovely car would make an ideal project for the winter but is running and driving.
