1975 Alfa Romeo GT Junior

The Alfa Romeo 105/115 series Coupés were built from 1963 until 1977. They were the successors to the celebrated Giulietta Sprint coupé and used the shortened floor-pan from the Giulia saloon car. The basic body shape, shared by all models, was designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro for Bertone. It was one of his first major projects for Bertone and borrowed heavily from his earlier design for the Alfa Romeo 2000 Sprint/2600 Sprint. The balance of glass and metal, the influence of the shape of the front and rear glass on the shape of the cabin and the flat grille with incorporated headlamps were all considered ground-breaking styling features for the era.

Often regarded, as one of the best looking and handling classic salon car with its 5-speed gearbox, all round disc brakes, independent suspension and torquey engine they have the capability to embarrass many of its modern counterparts.

This particular 1975 GT Junior model has had just 5 former keepers, the previous of which owned the car for over 13 years. The car has always been well maintained and under the ownership of its last long term keeper was subject to engine and bodywork renovation, the later of course being key with Alfa Romeos.

Presented in overall good order and with a great history file this car is lovely useable example of a fast appreciating classic that will turn heads wherever you go.
