Ross Innes.th no advisories and a V5c registration document to hand, with its original service handbook and wallet also present.
We are told the Swiss used RHD buses so the postman could get out on the pavement side. Aside from the walk through from the front, this Camper has high side door, high roof and the fact this combination is ultra rare for the Bay Window vans, we understand unique for the PTT (Swiss postal service)
Internally we are informed the whole habitation area has been fully insulated and ply-lined, and fitted out with a 12v fridge, a twin gas burner, Whale gas heating system and a Sargent PSU 240v RCD for battery charging, fridge, lighting and 240v sockets. The vendor tells us that there are plenty of storage units and a fold away roof mounted bed for a child along with a main table and general seating area. The van importantly also has a current Gas Certification document for compliance. Plus if that wasn't enough, it has also had, brakes discs, pads, brake hoses on front. Drums, backplates, shoes, cylinders, hoses, handbrake cables on rear. A rebuilt 1641 twin port with new clutch and new batteries fitted. Full Units including rear wardrobe and pull out main table.
The following items were installed:
¾ Fold out sofa bed with seat belt pointWhale gas heating systemSargent PSU - Integrated 240v RCD for Battery charger, Fridge, Lighting and 240V sockets12V fridge240V Mains hook up supplyLeisure batterySmev 922 twin gas burner and sink unitFold-away roof mounted sleeping area for a childAll upholstery for bed/sofaThe whole habitation and front of the van was insulated and then ply-lined which involved keeping the original curves of the roof and cab, before being carpeted.
The caravan specialist who carried out the above installation work on the Camper we are advised are fully insured and have the relevant ACOPS (gas certification), a gas safety certificate was issued upon completion of the conversion.
This Camper van has been converted to a very high standard, we are told using only the best appliances and safety devices. Viewing highly recommended.
