1976 Porsche 934 'Jagermeister' Race Car

One of the most famous and evocative cars to run at Le Mans and in the European GT championship in 1976 was the famous Porsche 934 Turbo Jagermeister car, finished in bright orange with a very distinctive livery in the colours of the German drink - Jagermeister.

Driven by Toine Hezemans in Europe and George Fulmer in America, the Deutsche Rennsport Meisterschaft team was responsible for the Jagermeister team's success with the 934 which continued in to 1978 and 1979 when the team upgraded to the famous 935.

This particular car is an exact recreation of the original, correctly based on a 911 (930) Turbo 4 speed from 1976 with many original period correct parts (including a genuine 934 inlet manifold which cost over 10,000 Euros alone!) and prepared to full FIA period spec with full FIA papers and HTP technical log book. The six figure build cost was undertaken by respected marque expert 'Specialist Vehicle Preparations' run by ex-Williams F1 engineer, Dominic Delaney, to a most exacting specification. Engine work and development was undertaken by Nick Fulljames of Redtek with all dyno work carried out at Bob Watson Engineering to deliver a reliable package giving 450 bhp at 1 bar boost with more available. Suspension and brakes are ultimate FIA legal specification parts and the car even has centre-lock wheels.

All work was completed on the 2 year build project in the Summer of 2011 when the car made an outstanding race debut at Oulton Park, so all belts, seat, extinguisher and fuel system are right up to date and valid for many seasons to come. The car has 12 wheels in total, including 8 spares and also a spare competition gearbox.
