DESCRIPTION

Fords rallying success in the 1970s is legendary, not least because the Escort is one of the most winning rally cars ever built. To 'Homologate' their rally cars used Internationally in World Rallies, Ford needed to produce some exciting road cars, much to the benefit of the Ford rally enthusiast. These included the like of the Escort Twincam, RS1600, RS1800 and eventually the RS 2000.

This car was first registered in August 1980 as Ford Escort RS 2000 Custom as a dealer demonstrator and has had just 2 private owners since; one for 14 years and one for 17 years!

More recently the car has been professionally modified and prepared for competition and track day use, including a Zetec based dry sumped 2.0 litre - 220bhp engine conversion, forest arches, full roll cage, rally suspension, an 'English axle' and limited slip diff, competition seats and belts, proper fully aeroquipped fuel tank and system and wide Minilite wheels for tarmac use.

Offered today at a fraction of the cost of all recent work, it represents a value for money opportunity for some serious fun on tarmac, either rallying, racing, sprinting or on track days. Offered with 12 months M.O.T.

Any cars not collected by 3pm on Monday 2nd August will be taken to our EM Rogers storage facility in

Northampton for a fee of £150 plus VAT. Storage will be charged at £10 plus VAT per day from Monday 2nd August onwards.

Motorcycles

Our motorcycle transport partners, Moving Motorcycles, can assist with collection and delivery.

Any motorcycles not collected by 3pm on Monday 2nd August will be taken to our transport partners facility in Northamptonshire for a

fee of £110 plus VAT, including 3 days storage. Storage will be charged at £5 plus VAT per day thereafter.

Automobilia can be collected from The Wing over the weekend or Monday morning between 9am

and midday by prior appointment. After this time it can be collected from our offices in

Warwickshire or shipped to you at your expense.
