SUMMARY

Remarkable little diesel Mk1 Golf with less than 750 miles from new.

DESCRIPTION

  • Bought by its original owner in May 1980 to replace his white Golf when that had worn out, except it never did
  • A right-hand-drive car purchased new in Holland at a very advantageous price (even after VAT and Duty)
  • Collected from Holland by Freddie Taub of FT Motors of London and delivered personally to its first owner in Cornwall
  • With no immediate requirement for its use, it was Waxoyled and popped into the owner's garage where it remained for 20 years making only two trips
  • The first visit was to a dealer for a breather pipe mod and the second to Looe in November 1999 to finally get it registered and have its first MOT
  • The subject of a full-colour feature in VW Motoring in August 2000
  • The current indicated mileage is 738 and this 40 years old, totally original and unrestored, time warp Golf is in a commensurate condition

Any cars not collected by 3pm on Monday 2nd August will be taken to our EM Rogers storage facility in

Northampton for a fee of £150 plus VAT. Storage will be charged at £10 plus VAT per day from Monday 2nd August onwards.

Motorcycles

Our motorcycle transport partners, Moving Motorcycles, can assist with collection and delivery.

Any motorcycles not collected by 3pm on Monday 2nd August will be taken to our transport partners facility in Northamptonshire for a

and midday by prior appointment. After this time it can be collected from our offices in

Warwickshire or shipped to you at your expense.
