DESCRIPTION
- Built on the 20/09/1981 with a manual gearbox and black leather interior and exported to the USA six days later
- Bought from a deceased estate in Pennsylvania by a DeLorean collector and registered in the UK on the 11/03/2016
- Inspected at the time by a respected DeLorean expert who stated: “I strongly believe that the indicated mileage of 3,220 is correct”
- Bought in September 2016 by a stainless steel company for promotional purposes
- All of the struts for the bonnet, boot and doors have been replaced and renowned DeLorean specialists, P. J. Grady UK, re-grained the stainless-steel coachwork
- In 2022 the company treated the car to a braking system overhaul, a full service, fuel-system flush, an additional fan switch and four new Pirelli tyres
- The current odometer reading is now 3,788 miles (at the time of cataloguing). Presented to auction with receipts from 2016 onwards and its V5C
