Remarks
Overall bodywork looks ok but the rust is coming back through in places from where previous repairs have been carried out, especially to the floor pans around the rear spring hanger sections. This was highlighted on the latest MOT failure. The car would benefit from a full bare shell restoration.

Vehicle History
Remarks
Excellent history file with the car including every MOT certificate going back to 1988 and every invoice and receipt for all the work done on the car and parts bought over the years. I recently sent the car up to a Capri specialist to have an Mot and for them to check it over before sending it to auction. It was tested on the 22nd of February 2022 and unfortunately failed. It mostly failed on corrosion issues mainly to the floor pans around the rear spring hanger sections. This is because of previous repairs that have been carried out where the rust is coming back through again. This is the same for the A posts as well. But to be fair to whoever carried out the repairs those repair panels weren't available at the time like they're now through Ex-Pressed Steel Panels in Yorkshire. The steering rack could do with being reconditioned and the front and rear anti-roll bar bushes and front track control arm bushes need replacing. However, when driving it to the Mot station they said it's got a strong engine and gearbox that runs and pulls really well and passed the emissions test with no issues. They said both banks of the V6 engine are perfectly balanced.
