DESCRIPTION
- No one could do 'go-faster' quite like Ford and, at its unveiling in August 1980, the XR3 represented a master class in addenda-driven design
- The whale-tail spoiler and the distinctive cloverleaf alloy wheels both became instant classics
- 1.6-litre, four-cylinder, CVH unit offered 86bhp and 0-60 in 8.5 seconds
- Finished in crisp Strato Silver accented in black with the correct 'cloverleaf' alloys, this example presents really well and is ideal for weekend shows
- Tidy, unmolested interior with that evocative grey and white 'deckchair' cloth
- Recently serviced, with a cambelt and a fresh MOT issued in September, this lovely pre-injection XR3 is ready to be enjoyed

From the looks of it it’s Still wearing all its original panels, the panel gaps and fit are almost spot on The car is straight down both sides. The date stamps on the front wings, also has the original rear wheel arches and sills underneath the doors are clearly visible. The correct Bronze tinted glass The underside of the car presents extremely well and we can’t see any welding that has ever been carried out to the floors or back panel. The correct Bronze tinted glass is still in place

original Laser trimmed sports seats. There Anthracite colour with Rare silver striping but sadly are really Sunbleached . The Black perforated headlining is in good condition and the overhead digital clock is crystal clear. The original 2 spoke steering wheel is still in place .

Respray in the original Strato Silver metallic Glass and panels along with all outer trim was removed then painted Had welding to the front panel and a replacement battery tray to a nice standard.
