October 1975, saw the debut at the Paris Motor Show of the most successful shape ever to wear the Cavallino Rampante emblem, the Ferrari 308. The 3-litre, four-cam V8 was more or less unchanged until March 1981 when Bosch fuel injection was added in place of the 4 double-choke Webers, reducing the engine's power output significantly. Two years later, the 4-valves per cylinder Quattrovalvole or 'QV' model pushed output back up to 240 bhp restoring the status quo. Only 233 right-hand drive 308 GTS QV's were produced.

Enthusiast owned and delivered new in May 1983, this outstanding example has covered a mere 31,822 miles from new, substantiated by a fully documented history file. The car was UK supplied in right-hand drive and is finished in the classic colour combination of Rosso Corsa paintwork and a Crema interior with the seats piped in red and red carpets. It's fitted with a Blaupunkt Modena CD-Player, the factory air-conditioning is fully functional, and the removable 'Targa' top has obviously been looked after. This lovely 308 has patently led a cossetted life in the hands of its four keepers, the last of which has enjoyed it for fourteen years, and its remarkable condition has stood it well, receiving a number of awards from the Ferrari Owners Club at their Northern Concours d'Elegance.

AE Performance of Knutsford have been entrusted with keeping the QV on top form and they will carry out a full service and cambelt change just prior to the sale. There are detailed service and maintenance invoices in the owner's file along with the cars original handbooks, V5C etc. The appropriate registration MSV 308 is included in the sale, as are an indoor fitted Ferrari car cover, genuine complete toolkit, and a trickle charger.
