DESCRIPTION
In June 1970, the Range Rover was introduced to the public, to much critical acclaim. It appeared that Rover had succeeded in their goal of a car equally capable both on and off road - arguably, better than any four-wheel drive vehicle of its era in both environments. With a top speed of 95mph and acceleration from a standstill to 60mph in less than 15 seconds, performance was stated as being better than many family saloon cars of its era. Off-road performance was good, owing to its long suspension travel and high ground clearance.
Originally, the Range Rover was fitted with a detuned 135hp version of the Buick-derived Rover V8 engine as fitted to the model offered here today. The 3,528cc engine was increased to a displacement of 3,947cc for the 1990 model year, and 4,197cc in 1992. The car offered here today is a petrol Range Rover in remarkably sound condition. The interior appears in remarkably good condition for its age. Finished in green with sand interior, featuring automatic transmission, the car has had a total of 4 registered keepers and requires full restoration. Offered at No Reserve, these classic Range Rovers are ageing very gracefully.

Any cars not collected by 3pm on Monday 2nd August will be taken to our EM Rogers storage facility in
Northampton for a fee of £150 plus VAT. Storage will be charged at £10 plus VAT per day from Monday 2nd August onwards.
Motorcycles
Our motorcycle transport partners, Moving Motorcycles, can assist with collection and delivery.

Any motorcycles not collected by 3pm on Monday 2nd August will be taken to our transport partners facility in Northamptonshire for a
fee of £110 plus VAT, including 3 days storage. Storage will be charged at £5 plus VAT per day thereafter.
Automobilia
Automobilia can be collected from The Wing over the weekend or Monday morning between 9am
and midday by prior appointment. After this time it can be collected from our offices in
Warwickshire or shipped to you at your expense.
