Offered here is a rather lovely, UK-supplied, right-hand drive R107 280 SL with 92,402 miles showing at the time of cataloguing. Specified in Signal Red paintwork with black half-leather and MB-Tex cloth centres, a timeless and well-suited combination for this model. First registered on 06th April just in time for Spring 1983 and supplied new to a local business owner by Mercedes-Benz agents Alexandra Motors Ltd. of Grimsby.

Today, this example looks almost as good as the day it left the Mercedes-Benz garage back in 1983, the Signal Red paint retains a deep gloss finish, the brightwork all presents very well, the 'Mexican Hat' alloys appear in good shape and the interior only shows the small amount of wear that you might expect on a 37-year old classic at this mileage. The build quality of Mercedes-Benz from this era was a benchmark to all other prestige manufacturers and this particular SL has clearly been very well looked after over the years. The car is accompanied by a box file containing its original book-pack and most importantly the original maintenance booklet with supporting service records up to 88,762 miles. Importantly, this example also retains its matching colour coded factory hard-top which also presents in fine order.
