1985 BMW M635 CSi

The M635CSi was introduced at the 1983 Frankfurt Motor Show. Like all 6 Series, the M635CSi/M6 was built on the normal Dingolfing assembly line, with body shells shipped from the Karmann works in Osnabruck. In total, BMW produced 1,415 examples of the M635CSi after the updated bumper and front fascia design was introduced in June of 1987.

This delightful UK supplied BMW M635 CSi has covered a mere 50,755 miles from new with a total of three owners. The car was first registered on the 19th October 1985 and purchased by the first owner from H.E. Averill and sons in Norwich. After 18 months the car was sold to L M T garages in Cardiff, where it was purchased by the second keeper who owned the car for over 27 years. He had it serviced with LMT Newport every year right up until 2004. Following 2004 it was serviced and looked after by a local specialist. Having only covered less than 4,000 miles in the last ten years, this M635 CSi comes with the original service booklet with all service history. Many many stamps can be found including its running-in inspection service at 1,200 miles and owners handbook. It is fitted with the original Blaupunkt radio and features an electric tilt and slide sunroof, air-conditioning, leather sports Recaro seats, complete tool kit, 2 sets of keys and even the original first aid kit and torch still in the glove box. Supplied with an MoT certificate until May 2015 and 4 months tax, this car has been garaged from new and is described by the vendor as very clean underneath as well as on top... "having never been welded or any body work carried out." Finished in white with black leather interior, examples such as these are few and far between today. The bodywork and paint present very well and the interior is superb. Only 524 right-hand drive cars were ever produced by the factory and in 2013 only 87 examples are registered in the UK, making this M635 CSi a very rare car indeed.
