SUMMARY

Desirable Series 1 rebuild project waiting to be started.

DESCRIPTION

  • Finished in Diamond White with the classic RS Turbo look featuring a body-coloured front grille and bumpers, over an RS interior in a combination of Monza and Cashmere fabrics with Recaro LS bucket seats
  • Powered by its 132bhp, 1600 CVH unit with a turbocharger, computerised fuel-injection and engine management incorporating a boost control
  • Purchased as a restoration/recommissioning project some years ago but, as is often the case, other priorities came along
  • The engine was refreshed a few years ago and has been started and run on a remote fuel supply
  • Supplied with a comprehensive history file including previous MOTs and invoices adding provenance to the vehicle
  • The vendor has accrued many items to aid the restoration all of which are available by separate negotiation should any potential buyer wish to purchase them
  • With recent restorations selling for over £50,000 this looks very well guided at just a fifth of that
