This Targa-roofed GTS was delivered new to Michael Terence Holdings in Jersey on 24/03/1988, supplied by Maranello Concessionaries and first registered in the UK on 01/08/1988. It's presented in arguably the most sought after combination with Rosso Corsa paintwork and a Crema leather interior with matching Rosso carpeting, timeless and very well suited. Our vendor purchased this example on 14 /04/1989 and has enjoyed the car in fine weather conditions only, always dry stored correctly and has kept it maintained regardless of cost at regular intervals by either Ferrari main agents or highly regarded marque specialists. As such, today the car can be considered as excellent in condition, in fact, one of the best examples we have seen. On inspection the paintwork is blemish-free and retains a deep gloss, panel gaps are even across the entire body, the exterior trim components are excellent and all the glass is etched with matching numbers. The Crema leather seats and interior panels are virtually free from wear as are the factory-original red carpets. As a very late, pre-ABS production model, this example benefits from some of the face-lift updates including revised interior and external door handles, making it an interesting and rare variant.

Offered with the important original Ferrari wallet including the original service book stamped up-to-date with the most recent major service including belts and a fresh MOT to be completed prior to the sale. The tool roll and spare wheel are present and, pleasingly, the car has been fitted with four new model-correct tyres. Also accompanying the car is a rather suitable private number and a history folder containing old MOTs and supporting invoices.

Rarely do examples this good come to market, this really is one of the last of the true analogue sports cars offered by Ferrari. Just pop off the Targa roof panel and set off to the destination of your choice in the early morning sunshine with the wind in your hair and the lively V8 fizzing away behind you - classic Ferrari ownership at its best.
