1989 Porsche 911 Wide Body Speedster

Inspired by the iconic 1950's Porsche 356 Speedster unique low line look, Porsche produced the 911 3.2 Carrera Speedster in 1989 only, with just 2,104 made worldwide, but with very few right hand drive UK cars. Offered in narrow or turbo bodied form, the Speedster was a sleek, low swept model with a distinctive low rake windscreen and 'speed humps' behind both driver and passenger. Considered to be a very attractive design by the cognoscenti of the day, it featured the popular, powerful and reliable 3.2 Carrera engine giving 231 bhp and a 0-60mph time of 5.4 seconds and a top speed of over 150mph.

This car is a rare original UK right hand drive Turbo bodied car that has covered just 12,000 miles from new. Finished in the best colour combination of Guards Red with Black leather upholstery, it has the factory option of sports seats and is also fitted with a period immobiliser and new tyres as well as the standard wet weather roof, which the factory famously refused to state was fully rain proof at the time!

The long term private owner vendor tell us that it is coming to the sale fresh from a service and M.O.T. at Porsche Lancaster, along with all his service bills, receipts and old M.OT.'s during his 17 year ownership.
