1993 Ferrari 348TS

The Ferrari 348 is a mid-engined, rear-wheel-drive V8-powered 2-seat sports car by Ferrari replacing the 328 in 1989 and continuing until 1995. The 348, badged 348 TB for the coupé (Trasversale Berlinetta) and 348 TS (Spider) for the targa versions, features a normally aspirated 3.4-litre version of the quad-cam, four-valve-per-cylinder V8 engine which was originally found in the benchmark 288 GTO. As with its predecessors, the model number was derived from this configuration, with the first two digits being the displacement and the third being the number of cylinders.

This particular 348TS is in exemplary order throughout in no small part due to its extraordinarily low mileage of fewer than 33,000, and a healthy service record supporting this mileage from the likes of HR Owen, Graypaul, Carrs of Exeter, Lancaster of Colchester and most recently, DK Engineering at 32,117 in November 2011. Cambelts were changed by Lancaster Colchester in October 2006 at 28,030miles.

An original UK righthand drive car supplied by Maranello in Egham in May 1993, the pleasing Giallo Fly colour scheme with contrasting black interior and all-important manual gearbox make this impressive sportscar even more appealing.
