In late 1993, the 348 was revised, with a few subtle styling changes (front grille, rear chrome Cavallino, and removable seat cushions), and now boasted 320bhp from the same 3.4-litre engine in F119H-spec with an increased compression ratio (10.8-1), modified camshaft timing, a new exhaust, and a Bosch Motronic 2.7, engine management system.

This delightful, right-hand drive Ferrari 348 Spider was delivered new on 02 August 1994 to its first owner by Lancaster Ferrari, Colchester main agents. Specified from new in Giallo Modena with a black leather interior and a black hood, great colours for a 348, this example presents almost as well as the day it was collected new from the showroom with the paintwork still retaining a deep gloss and the interior displaying minimal wear. Clearly well looked after over the years as evidenced by its overall condition and the original service book stamped up-to-date with 11 stamps from main dealers or highly regarded marque specialists (most recent in October 2019 at 18,805 miles). The car is accompanied by the original leather-bound Ferrari book-pack containing the owner's manuals, a fresh MOT showing no advisories (valid until 22 June 2021), the tonneau cover, tool kit and spare keys.

On offer from a significant private collection, it's believed that Ferrari UK only imported 68 right-hand drive Spiders, making this a very rare car. The outstanding condition of this beautiful 348 is certainly commensurate with its impeccable service history, all of it suggesting caring ownership, and once viewed, it will be difficult to resist the joy of three-pedal, open-top touring with that glorious V8 crackle in the background.
