DESCRIPTION

The Jaguar X300 was manufactured between 1994 and 1997 and was the first offering by Ford as the new owners of Jaguar. The brief for the range was to improve build quality, improve reliability and introduce more of the Jaguar styling traditions. Ford invested heavily with state of art production techniques marking a commitment to the British auto industry. In December 1994 Queen Elizabeth II visited Browns Lane and marked the occasion by ordering the Daimler version for her own personal use. The ride quality of the XJ range had always been an industry standard. It was powered by the famous V12 engine, which now delivered even more turbine smooth refinement as electronic management improved.

On offer here is probably the best XJ12 saloon available anywhere today. As a starting point the owner procured the best low mileage example and set about the most comprehensive refurbishment we have seen on a nineties car. The history file, which is two inches thick with new parts invoiced alone lists nearly £23,000 of expenditure. This does not include the glass out repaint which would probably been circa £10,000 judging by the incredible quality. All five wheels and tyres are brand new. The relevant registration D12 CYL is included. Mot'd until April 2014.

Finished in Kingfisher Blue with Oatmeal leather trim it was originally supplied by Paramount Jaguar in Cardiff. It was purchased by the owner with only 49,899 miles on the clock and after an exacting restoration still only shows 51,000 miles. This Jaguar was over £54,000 new and our guide today looks fantastic value for a car that looks no different from new.

If it's Jaguar XJ12 refinement you are looking for your search is over . . .
