Remarks
The car was serviced annually, however, we only have a stamped service logbook up until 2008, at which point the car had done 53k miles. The book pack is still with the car. The car belonged to my father-in-law, for most of its life, until he passed away a couple of years back, at which point we lent the car to our son living in London, who became the 4th registered keeper. Arthur ( father-in-law ) was a retired traffic cop in the Peterborough area who bought the car in retirement, very soon after it was registered as new, although how it transpired that he was in fact the 3rd owner we are not quite sure. Anyway, the BMW was his pride and joy for many years and only used for his weekly sojourn from his house in Peterborough to ours in Frampton, near Boston, for his Sunday lunch - hence the extremely low and absolutely genuine miles on the clock. When we passed the car onto our son when Arthur passed away, he used it very rarely in London, and the mileage remained low.
