DESCRIPTION

The DB7 Vantage was first introduced at the Geneva motor show in 1999 with a 6 litre V12, 48 valve engine giving 420bhp and 400 lbs/ft torque. The car was offered by the factory either as a manual (with Tremec T56 6 speed) or Auto (ZF 5 Speed) transmission. The car was the first really quick DB7, after the original lack lustre straight six offered from launch was dropped. Both suspension and brakes were uprated with the new Vantage and the car was to be very well received by the motoring press of the day for both performance and handling improvements.

This particular car was supplied new in the UK through Aston Martin as a more desirable 6 speed manual model with the unusual specification of Ferrari Grigio Titanio paintwork complimented by contrasting black leather upholstery, piped grey with a smoked grey headlining and carbon finish door and dash cappings.

It is a high specification car, factory fitted with Alpine 7587R hi-fi with remote control, satellite navigation, 6 stack CD, alloy pedals, big bore sports exhaust, electric seats with lumbar support and heated front and rear windscreen.

Today, it has covered just 34,000 miles with full main dealer service history (last service July 2011) and is offered in exceptional order throughout. It drives superbly and offers exceptional value when compared to a cost new well in advance of £100,000.
