A very clean example of the 883 Sportster Custom, a great entry into the world of Harley ownership.
DESCRIPTION
- The Sportster has been part of the HD model range since 1957 and early bikes were fitted with a 900cc air-cooled V-twin
- The 2001 Sportster 883 Custom is powered by an air-cooled 883cc Evolution V-Twin mated to a 5-speed gearbox and offering 50bhp and 66Nm of torque at 4,600rpm
- Traditional Harley features include the tall, chromed riser, a drag-style handlebar, a chrome bullet headlight, a laced front wheel, a disc rear wheel, a one-piece, low-profile, two-up seat, forward-mounted foot controls and low-profile rear shocks
- This smart example has covered less than 9,000 miles and presents very well
- The current owner has not ridden the bike since acquiring it four years ago and it's been dry stored ever since
- Confirmed running however some recommissioning may be required before returning to regular use
- Supplied with a current V5C and some paperwork
