2003 Ferrari 360 Challenge Race Car

The Ferrari 360 Challenge is the race-modified model of the hugely popular Ferrari 360 Modena road car. The 360 Challenge was a significantly modified, non-road legal car, originally designed for use in Ferrari's popular racing series the 'Ferrari Challenge'. When the car was first introduced, Ferrari claimed that the 360 Challenge boasted a quicker acceleration time of 3.9s from 0 to 62 mph along with substantially better cornering ability over the standard road car due to enhanced racing suspension and brakes.

Unlike its predecessor's the 360 Challenge was the first 'Challenge' series car that was a factory built and supplied race car, as opposed to a road car with a 'Challenge' upgrade kit. This meant greater weight reduction could be achieved, which when combined with the improved handling features, allowed the car to easily outperform its road counterpart - despite having a similar power output.

Built in 2003, this left hand drive Ferrari 360 Challenge car was purchased new by JMB Racing and initially spent most of its early life as a track day car. In recent years the car was prepared by well known GT team 'M-Tech Racing', who ran the 360 in the respected and popular entry level modern sports car series - the GT Cup.

Over time, this car has evolved and benefitted from various upgrades which include top of the range 'SACHS' 4 way adjustable dampers, which replaced the original adjustable race dampers . The added handling improvements of the SACHS dampers are complimented by the 'GT Cup aero kit' fitted to the car. These combined upgrades provide the car with exceptional handling qualities over the standard model and help the car to remain a potential class winner.
