DESCRIPTION

Now for something very special. A real Q-car with genuine engineering pedigree.

This an original BBR (Brodie Brittain Racing) Gti Ltd. produced Mini Cooper S. Driven and reviewed by EVO magazine and Top Gear, this is one of the fastest and most capable BMW-era Minis ever made. A really usable, rare and bespoke car.

BBR are known for building exceptional cars to exacting standards, with a well-known back-catalogue.

To read a full road-test of this car please follow: http://www.bbrgti.com/road_tests_item.php?road-test=24

With a fully re-engineered 1600cc turbo engine producing 307bhp at 6550rpm and no less than 313lb ft of torque at 5000rpm.

0-30mph 2.72sec, 0-60mph 5.78sec and 0-100mph 12.86sec

Starting with the basic Cooper S 1.6 four-cylinder engine, BBR stripped and then rebuilt it using the company's reassuringly old-school big valve, polished and ported cylinder head, along with a BBR camshaft, high-flow fuel system and injectors and, of course, a turbo-charger. The necessary upgrading of the cooling system, engine electronics, brakes (AP big brake conversion) and chassis (BBR's 'Power Grip' suspension and limited-slip differential) have all been done professionally.

The car is fitted with a full Recaro interior and a Works body kit.

Having covered less than 6000 miles from new (due to being stored), this special car has now been fully re-commissioned and is ready to be used to its full potential.
