DESCRIPTION
- The Volkswagen Citi Golf is a right-hand drive, five-door hatchback manufactured and marketed by Volkswagen in South Africa from 1984 to 2009 as a facelifted version of the first generation Golf Mk1
- This 2006 example was imported from South Africa via Felixstowe on 18/07/08 with 60,508km/37,600 miles indicated
- Supplied with HMRC Proof of Payment and shipping documents. UK registered on 01/03/2018
- Powered by a 99bhp, 1.6i fuel-injected Volkswagen Polo AFX engine fitted from factory. Recent cambelt change and major service at Wimbledon Volkswagen. Aftermarket K&N filter fitted. Very good 5-speed transmission. Recent gear linkage replacement

The Mk1 Golf was produced in South Africa until 2009. This version was one of the last produced 74 kw ( 99 bhp) from the 1.6i engine. Very rare to see these in the UK. Current owner's 6th MK1 Golf. Current owner is a VW MK1 Owners club member. Current mileage: 60 250 kilometers. (circa 37 500 miles) Service History: Letter from VWSA present confirm the following services: 02.11.2006 @ 10 908 kms 22.02.2007 @ 29 397 kms 17.10.2007 @ 44 848 kms Car then imported in 2008 and reigstered with DVLA on 28 Feb 2018.
