2008 Ferrari F430 GT3 Race Car

Based on the factory derived Ferrari F430 Challenge car, which was the first evocation of the Ferrari F430 in racing trim, the F430 'GT3' model was originally specifically designed for the FIA GT3 European Championship, along with other National GT championships.

Mechanically similar to the F430 Challenge, the left hand drive Ferrari 'F430 GT3' has the same extensive weight reductions and suspension upgrades over the standard road car, along with the introduction of the Formula 1 derived gearbox. Unlike the F430 Challenge, the F430 GT3 model has been subject to improvements found largely in the cars overall aerodynamics front and rear, and with power enhancements to its 4.3L V8 competition engine. This brings the output to 550bhp, which makes the F430 GT3 the most powerful of all F430 racing variants.

The Ferrari F430 GT3 model offered here was first built in 2008 and has been used sparingly throughout most of its racing life, having only run in one complete championship season.

During the 2009 and 2010 seasons the car was entered in to just a few selected British races, before it contested a full season in the 2011 British GT championship. The car proved its worth and reliability throughout the championship season, and went on to win the GT3B class.

Still eligible for all the desirable European and National GT series, such as the British GT Championship, GT Cup, Britcar and the Dutch Supercar Challenge, this is a fantastically competitive entry in to national sports car racing with winning potential in the right hands.
